War
NOTE: After the AniWayan conflict with Cour des Miracles and Crimson Dreams came to an end, the two packs' leaders demanded AniWaya do not train warriors, for as long as they deem necessary. Thus, the Warrior profession, and any level in it, is not available for players at the moment. Who knows when the ban will be lifted?
The Warriors of the tribe are the main peacekeepers. They patrol (along with the scouts) the borders of the tribe and maintain order. Should crime be reported, it is the warriors' job to maintain order and take the accusations to the Chief and his/her council. Additionally, it is the Warriors' duty to execute any punishments upon criminals found to be guilty. Warriors are skilled in numerous fighting styles, but most have specialized themselves with a weapon or style, or have favorite ways of fighting. They escort important members of the tribe on missions if they are asked, and will also aid the Hunters on pack hunts or if the manpower is needed. They work with the Craftsmen to create the needed weapons, and are responsible of holding a more-than adequate stock of weaponry, in case of war. They are to be alert and ready for conflict. Warriors also work with the Animal Carers in training horses for war.

Mark and relic
Characters who reach the Master rank also receive a master's brand in the form of a dyed or tattooed color pattern either on their chest, face or an arm (or similarly visible place), as well as a relic, to symbolize clearly their ranking and powerful position in the pack hierarchy. In the case that there are more than one master in a profession, the most prominent one keeps the mark and relic, and the rank can be challenge for.

| Mark: The black crow. The crow is the symbol of the warriors not only for the bird's appearance on battlefields, but also for the bird's intelligence. Its mind is strong and can outwit many; a skill needed when using tactics to overcome an enemy. In this sense, the crow represents the brain over brute force, and balances the warrior path. Muscle is not all that is needed, and a true warrior will strive to overcome obstacles using intelligence as their weapon of choice. Crow was also seen by some Native Americans as the left-handed guardian and keeper of the sacred law. Its color symbolizes many things:

Relic: The relic of the Katakanehi is an elaborately crafted wooden mask with war paint. It uses two sets of straps to fasten it. The tribal paint around the eye holes enlarges the facial features of the wearer, aiming to intimidate opponents in war. It covers the forehead and eyes, and stretches to curl around the top of the base of the snout, opening up below to enable the jaws to open fully. Its outer rim is ornamented with vividly colored feathers. |
